Fed up with the practice mats on the market, a contourable and portable green was required to practice those breaking putts. With nothing suitable on the market, frustration increased and the company decided to produce their own green - LinksPutt was born.
As demonstrated at the Scottish Open 2004, LinksPutt has come a long way in a short period of time.

A truly flat, straight putt is rarely encountered during a round, so continuous practice at holing breaking putts builds your confidence. Stop trying to lag that downhill left to right putt (and leaving it short) and do as the professionals do - hit it harder and take some of the break out. Don't worry about the 3 footer on the way back - you will have practiced these so many times on your LinksPutt, it will be like shelling peas!
LinksPutt can be assembled in around 5 minutes and there are no screws, bolts or any form of locking mechanisms, the components just push together. Contour changes can be effected in less than 1 minute and there are thousands of possible permutations, the instructions supplied showing 15 of these. Due to demand from Professional users, LinksPutt is now stocked in 3, 4 and 5 metre versions.
The base panels were designed using the latest 3D modelling techniques. They stay flat when raised uniformly from the ground (to create straight up or down hill putts), but can flex when raised none uniformly (allowing double breaks etc). They are moulded from expanded polypropylene foam and simply link together. The end panel has two regulation diameter holes that can accommodate 5 golf balls each.
The stance board is a one piece, high strength aluminium extrusion, combining lightness in weight and the necessary rigidity for a firm stance. It is topped with a rubber backed green mat of the same material as the putting surface. It can be positioned at any point along each side of the green, allowing both right and left handers to practice putts of varying length. It can be adjusted in height and slope to exactly match the contour set on the green, giving you the realistic 'feel' of the putt.
Contours on the green are achieved by inserting stackable risers at stations along each side of the green, providing incremental elevations of 1 cm (3/8") at each station. The risers for the stance board are colour coded for ease of use, the black ones are supplied with a rubber anti-slip ring for your safety when using on hard or polished floors.
