What is the big deal with Scotty Cameron Putters?
Are they hand made? Is there Hickory in the shaft that i don’t know about? Does scotty have Tiger DNA in the head somewhere ? Ok – I’m being a little tongue and cheek, but really … why buy the Scotty Newport when the redwood is the real deal ( before the PING patent ran out )
Good answer. Do you think that Scotty is better branded currently than redwood or Ping in general for Putters ? Is is branding or the players on tour such as DL III or Tiger , Calc, Ochoa … etc.
The answer lies in brand recognition….Millions of people buy fords millions more buy Chevy’s it the same thing with putters or anything else for that matter. People buy what they think they like for whatever reason motivates them to make that purchase.
