I own a ping B60 putter,on the face its engraved GHO 1979 SAMMY DAVIS JR.Any idea on what its worth.
GHO = Greater Hartford Open. Sammy Davis Jr = Member of the original “Rat Pack”.
The golf tournament now known as the Travelers Championship used to be called The Greater Hartford Open and from 1973-1984 was the called the Sammy Davis Jr Greater Hartford Open and from 1985-1988 was the Canon Sammy Davis Jr Greater Hartford Open.
The club that you had was probably a souvenir from that event, given to sponsors, major supporters, etc. As a souvenir, the club may have some value. You should consult with a sport memorabilia authority.
