From the sound of your question I don,t think you can tackle the puttering, it could be anything. The alignment has do be done at the shop, if that is the problem. The water leak could be the radiator. This is not an easy replacement for someone who does mechanic work, but you could do it if you are very motivated. The new radiator could cost around $150 to $200 bucks though. You really need to keep an eye on your raiator water level or it will overheat on you. If you haven’t checked the level before, look at the plastic tank, which is connected by a small hose to the radiator. See if the level is where it is suppose to be by looking at the side of the tank. There should be a “full hot” and a “full cold” mark on the side. Add with a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water to the correct level. You should check the actual radiator level too. Take the radiator cap off. ONLY DO THIS WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD OR IT COULD HURT YOU. You may not be able to see the coolant in it, so top it off with the 50/50 mixture. Make sure the cap is all the way back on when you are done. Try to keep a close eye on that radiator level, if that is where the water is coming from, because if you don’t it could cause major damage if it overheats. I tried to explain this like I would to my sister, I hope I haven’t been to basic for you. Good luck.
