Putter Head Weight
dunlop Putter. need help?
I have a flat head Dunlop Putter from my starter set. I am an ok golfer (just shot 7 over par). I find it extremly hard to keep my back swing steayd becasue there is no weight in my putter. any ideas??
If you need more weight at the head of the putter you would benefit greatly from a mallet style putter. (This is the putter that looks like a D if you are looking down on it)
Many people switch from a traditional blade or cavity style putter and say the extra weight helps them with a smoother swing.
However, everyone is different, if I were you I would go to the local golf store with a practice putting green and try out the Mallet Putters along with the cavity and blade to see which is better suited for you.
