Credit / Debit Card Security
Your security is important to us. We place your card payment in the secure hands of Protx Ltd, the UK’s leading e-commerce solution providers. Protx manage all of our card transactions using SSL and other unique encryption systems. When you purchase on-line, we never see your card details on our own systems. When you purchase by telephone, we input your card details directly into the Protx Secure Terminal. We do not record or store your card details on our premises or systems.
Your Rights
By law, you have 7 business days from receipt of the goods to withdraw from the contract, for a full refund. You must notify us within these 7 days, upon which we will issue you with a Returns Authorisation Code (returns will not be accepted without this code). It is your responsibility and risk to ensure that the goods are delivered back to us (at your own expense) within a reasonable period. The goods must be undamaged and in their original box and packaging. The delivery box is also the storage box, and it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of it. If any returned goods have missing or damaged components, the cost of these components will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will be transacted within 30 days of us receiving the returned goods.
Tax / Duty
Member states of the EU - delivered prices are inclusive of 17.5% UK vat. All other countries (including Switzerland and Norway) - delivered prices are exclusive of UK vat and are shipped on a DDU (Deliver Duty Unpaid) basis. If goods are processed by Customs on arrival in any country outwith the EU, you will be notified and are liable to pay all applicable import tax and duty on the goods. For reference, the harmonized tariff code (HS Code) for LinksPutt in the UK is 9506.39.90 For reference - Duty payable for USA is 4.9%.
Unpaid Tax / Duty (Non-EU Member States only)
Once, having purchased your goods and the goods arriving at Customs in your country, you are liable for all applicable import tax and duty. If you then refuse to pay the tax and duty, resulting in the goods being returned to ourselves, we will refund your credit card minus all of our incurred expenses (2 carriage charges, credit card charges, any incurred Customs charges and a re-packing charge).
Delivery Schedule
You will be notified by e-mail with order confirmation and delivery schedule. If you have not received your goods within the notified schedule, we ask you to contact us. We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are contacted within a reasonable period after the notified schedule. All goods are couriered to your door. If delivery cannot be completed (not at home) you will be notified by a card through your door, phone or e-mail, to arrange a re-delivery at no extra charge. Failure to respond to the above re-delivery notification within 5 business days, may result in the goods being returned to ourselves. In this instance, we will refund your credit card minus all of our incurred expenses (2 carriage charges, credit card charges, any incurred Customs charges and a re-packing charge).
Incorrect Order Input
Our “On-line Shop” page requires input of all your delivery details and contact information. We remind you again (on our “Pay by Credit Card” page) to double check that all of your details and contact information have been entered correctly. If any incorrect order information results in a none-delivery, your goods could be returned to ourselves. In this instance, we will refund your credit card minus all of our incurred expenses (2 carriage charges, credit card charges, any incurred Customs charges and a re-packing charge).
Delivery Box
Once you have signed for the goods on receipt, you will be responsible for them. Any obvious damage to the exterior packaging must be noted on the delivery docket and given back to the delivery driver, and you must retain a record of this complaint. You have 7 business days from receipt to inform us of any resulting damage to the goods inside the packaging. We have only 10 days from you receiving the goods for us to inform our courier of any obvious damage to the exterior packaging, otherwise we cannot claim against the courier. Hence you will understand our terms of 7 days for this clause. For your peace of mind - we have never had a damaged box reported (we use very high quality cardboard for our boxes).
