Types Of Putters

GOLFERS – I keep topping the ball! Any tips??
I try to remember to keep my knees slightly bent but 95% of the time, I top the ball (skim the top of the ball with the bottom of the club). ALSO, my clubs have been fitted so supposedly they are the right length for my height.
I seem to top the ball no matter what type of club I am using (irons, woods, driver, wedges) except my Putter.
Any tips to stop doing this?
Any tips that even just pertain to a certain type of club (iron, wood, wedge, etc)?
One of two things lead to most of the tops. One is make sure you stance is not to wide. Shoulders length apart. When you take the club back make sure you keep you knees bent. A lot of people who top the ball straighten the legs up on the back swing. You only have to move 1/2 inch to top it and a little more and you miss it.
The second item is keeping the left arm straight. Golfers talk about that all the time. You bend the left arm and you shorten you golf club, which results in topping the ball.
