Wilson Golf Putter
Should i get a 3 iron or is my 3 hybrid good enough?

Ok. I just started golfing about a year ago. I bought a Wilson golf set for $199. I came with a driver, 3 wood, 3 hybrid, 5 iron, 6 iron, 7 iron, 8 iron, 9 iron, sand wedge, pitching wedge, and a Putter. I am going to play on my school’s golf team next year. I don’t know if i should add a 3 or 4 iron to my set or should i get a new driver. Basically my question is do i need to add a 3 or 4 iron to my set before i get a new driver?

No you do not need a 3 iron and are much better off with a hybrid. Most amateur golfers are getting away from long irons like the 3, even the 4 and using hybrids. Hybrids are much easier to hit and make getting the ball high in the air very simple. If you are going to add another club go with another hybrid. Also it’s not the cool thing to do but I bet you could hit your 3 wood off the tee more consistently then your driver and just as far.
